History of Baobab Oil

Our rich Baobab oil is 100% organic and 100% pure and natural.  It’s an excellent natural emollient and helps soothe and relieve dry skin and dry, damaged hair.   Baobab oil comes from the seeds of the Baobab tree, known as the “Tree of Life” in west Africa, because of its many health and beauty uses.  The Baobab tree has a long history in African medicine, going back thousands of years. The trees themselves can live to be over 1,000 years old.  The tree’s bark, leaves and the fruit pulp are all used to treat different ailments.

The Baobab fruit has been called the “superfruit” because it’s chock full of Omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins and antioxidants.
