I really like this organic amla oil for my biracial, curly hair, especially through my post-partum hair loss is suffered through. I mix this amla oil with other oils like jojoba or a bit of castor oil or with one of my conditioners before washing. This process has made my hair resilient, soft, and lustrous. There is a bit of a strong scent at first but it does was out.

I mostly use this Savage Organics Amla oil as a hot oil treatment. i let it set for an hour or so before rinsing it out. It works great for my type 4c hair. The scent is natural and nutty. a bit robust scent-wise but not bad. The benefits, like softer and thicker hair, are definitely worth it imo.

Nice consistency, it’s similar to fractionated coconut oil. I use it in my hair which is dark brown and with the oil it becomes a shade darker and has a very nice shine. I read good things about Amla oil and i have used other Ayurvedic oils in the past, so I decided to give this one a try. so far, i’ve only used it twice so far, I can say it has my hair feeling incredibly soft. THE SMELL HOWEVER, is not that great, I’m sure it’s the natural smell of the fruit itself but I would recommend mixing an essential oil with it to mask the smell. I do likethat the company did not tamper with the smell as i wanted an organic virgin oil. I would give it a 5 star but I’ve only used it twice and i’m going to put it in my rotation of hair products more regularly and then update.

I bought this amla oil to help my hair and scalp. my hair is thin or low density. my hair is curly and needs moisture. I have only had it about 2 weeks however, the package came quick and was what I expected.
